Troubleshooting
This device comes with a delicate supersonic nozzle containing 950 non-visible openings that are 10-6m in diameter to generate a fine and gentle mist. Be sure to only use purified water and original Yvana Hahn® products to prevent the delicate nozzle from clogging and causing permanent damage.
Reason 1: The device shows a rusty yellow color which indicates that it was upside down while wet, resulting in circuitry corrosion
Solution: Do not leave your device upside down while wet to prevent damage that voids the warranty policy.
Reason 2: The nozzle has rusty brown spots which indicates irregular and inconsistent use, resulting in dust, pollutants (PM2.5), biofilm, and rust from high humidity clogging the nozzle
Solution: Use it regularly (at least once every two days) to prevent damage that voids the warranty policy.
Reason 3: The device has dents and scratches which indicates dropping and smashing
Solution: Use this delicate device with care to prevent damage that voids the warranty policy.
Reason 4: The circuitry frequently overheats due to insufficient amount of solution in the bottle (designed to automatically shut down in 4 hours)
Solution: Ensure that the bottle is always full before use or turn off when liquid is low to prevent damage that voids the warranty policy.
Reason 5: Using non-purified water containing excessive minerals which can clog the delicate nozzle
Solution: Use purified water to prevent damage that voids the warranty policy.
Reason 6: Using non-Yvana Hahn® products with ingredients that will form a hard-to-dissolve membrane after use which can clog the delicate nozzle
Solution: Use original Yvana Hahn® products to prevent damage that voids the warranty policy.
Reason 1: Damaged USB Type-C charging cable or incompatible connector pinout (such as Apple or Huawei charging cable) preventing the current from passing through
Solution: Please replace with a new Yvana Hahn® charging cable.
Reason 2: The circuitry is corroded
Solution: Physical damage not repairable (warranty void).
Reason 1: The voltage or current of the charger is unstable, which triggers the protection circuit
Solution: Please switch to a charger with better quality (such as Apple or Samsung charger).
Reason 2: The rechargeable battery is bad
Solution: Please request a replacement if the device is still within the warranty period.
Reason 1: The nozzle is partially blocked
Solution: Gently wipe off the deposits from the nozzle with a wet cotton swab.
Reason 2: The tip of the cotton stick burns or scatters due to frequent overheating, resulting in insufficient solution delivered to the nozzle
Solution: Please replace with a new cotton stick.
Reason 3: The solution level is too low resulting in insufficient solution delivered to the nozzle
Solution: Shake the bottle to increase the contact area of the cotton stick with the solution.
Reason 1: Too much solution is added and excess solution overflows and blocks the nozzle
Solution: Dry the nozzle with a cotton swab or tissue paper.
Reason 2: A spring is missing from the bottom of the cotton stick (will move when device shakes), and the solution fails to reach the nozzle
Solution: Disassemble the outer sleeve of the cotton stick, and put the spring in.
Reason: The battery is too low
Solution: Please charge for at least 5-10 minutes before continuing use.
Reason: The cotton stick is flaking due to burning and scattering from frequent overheating
Solution: Please replace with a new cotton stick and fresh solution immediately.
Reason: The current from the power bank is too high
Solution: Please replace with a new Yvana Hahn® charging cable.
